The Queen City was born back in 1768 when a group of Scotch-Irish settlers arrived in the mid 1700s's in their covered wagons from Philadelphia. They began building their homes along the Catawba River. Slowly, but surely, this settlement grew as new neighbors began to arrive. The settlers eventually decided to become an officially incorporated city named Charlotte, after the wife of then English King, George III. Over the course of the next 30 years or so, the discovery of gold and a new railroad quickly began to increase Charlotte's population. Today, along with surrounding areas like Matthews and Concord, Charlotte boasts a population of well over two million people. The fact that Charlotte continues to grow, build, and prosper even in today's economy is a true testament to the city and its people.

Charlotte is truly a wonderful place to live. The homes have continued to hold value compared to most places in the rest of the country. So, why not buy something now while the prices are a little lower, but in a regional market wher ethe values are holding better than most places. If you cannot afford to buy something on your own then team-up with some friends or co-workers. Find a way to invest! There may never be a better time than right now!
