Congratulations to Kevin Moss who purchased his first home on November 20, 2008! Along with his fiance, Sarah Goldstein, they purchased a condominium at Oakmore at Selwyn on Selwyn Ave. It's a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit!

Kevin came as a referral from Sarah whose house I currently have on the market. Kevin recognized that we are in one of the best purchasing times in Charlotte's recent memory, and also wanted to take advantage of the government's First Time Homebuyer program offering up to $7,500 in tax credits for homes purchased before July 1, 2009.

The process wasn't without its challenges. One lender "pulled the plug" on the deal 1 day before we were supposed to close due to their strict guidelines regarding condominiums. We had to call in another lender who spent several days getting the condominium approved for lending . Then, Kevin had to officially apply a loan and the lender was able to get approval in 3 days! Very rarely does that happen.

End the end, it just goes to show how perseverance and patience pays off and our clients are the ones who win!
